ISR International School on the Rhine is an all-day school offering an excellent international kindergarten and school education to over 1,200 students. The ultra-modern campus of ISR (150,000 m²), which was founded in 2003, lies close to the Neuss city forest. In a branch of the ISR Kindergarten, children from the age of three are prepared for elementary school in a multilingual environment in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel.

In addition to our international and English-language educational facilities in Neuss and Düsseldorf, a German-language kindergarten in Meerbusch for children from the age of one is part of the ISR Educational Group.

The language of instruction at ISR is English, with German taught as a required subject. Our mission is to prepare our students for prestigious universities around the world in order to provide children with a happy and fulfilling future. On their way to the university of their choice, we constantly accompany our students, in close cooperation with their parents, and together we find out how we can support them in the best possible way. Our internal university and career counseling team sits down with the students as early as 8th grade to discuss course choices as well as the children’s wishes and dreams, and to walk the path to success together with them.

In addition, we place great value on friendly interaction, the positive development of our students, and our international community – the ISR Family. 60 nations come together at ISR, which promotes cultural diversity as a great added value. We celebrate international festivals such as Diwali, Chinese New Year, Bunka No Hi, Halloween and St. Martin – traditions from all over the world that enrich our international school community.
