This year’s retreat was a fantastic opportunity for our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students to bond, reflect, and engage in meaningful activities that promote personal and academic growth.
Day 1: Arrival and Team Building
The retreat kicked off with students arriving at school bright and early. After a smooth check-in and attendance process, both Grade 11 and Grade 12 students boarded their buses, filled with excitement for the adventure ahead. The day featured a team-building activity where students collaborated to create catapults, fostering teamwork and creativity.
Day 2: Engaging Sessions and Activities
On the second day, students participated in a variety of engaging sessions, including CAS and college preparation workshops, wellbeing activities, and reflective journaling. The highlight of the day was a well-received BBQ dinner, where students enjoyed good food and meaningful conversations around the campfire. The evening ended with fun team games, strengthening friendships and creating lasting memories.
Day 3: Reflection and Departure
The final day focused on reflection and feedback. Students shared their experiences through reflective journals, discussing what they learned and how they would apply these insights moving forward. The retreat concluded with a smooth check-out process, ensuring everyone left with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie.
