At The British School of Córdoba, education extends far beyond the traditional classroom. This June, our High School students embarked on a transformative Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) trip to Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Designed to foster cultural awareness, collaboration, and critical thinking, the expedition offered our future leaders a profound opportunity to make a lasting global impact.
Partnering with the Atlas Cultural Foundation, students immersed themselves in the underserved Zawiya Ahansal region. They actively engaged with the local community by delivering English, Art, and environmental awareness lessons to primary school children. The learning went both ways: our students stepped into the fields to learn traditional farming and gardening techniques alongside locals, while discovering the vibrant language and heritage of the Amazigh people.
This journey beautifully epitomizes the core values of our international IB Diploma Programme. Combined with our rigorous British curriculum, we ensure students develop the global mindset and emotional intelligence required to thrive at top universities worldwide.
For international students, this experience doesn’t end when they return to Spain. Our welcoming school boarding residence provides a safe, nurturing “home away from home” where global perspectives are celebrated daily. Nestled in the historic, sun-drenched city of Córdoba—a culturally rich and safe destination—our students enjoy an unparalleled quality of life.
By blending academic excellence with life-changing global experiences, The British School of Córdoba prepares students to become truly purposeful global citizens.
