Parent and Student Reviews

  • This school is amazing!! They have excellent teachers who go above and beyond to help the students achieve the best grades possible. The relatively small number of students per class, makes it so that the teachers can easily help students individually during the class or even after through e-mails or meetings. Programs such as the IB are excellent in preparing seniors on their way to University. The school facilities themselves are top of the line enhancing the students learning abilities in the classroom. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the school, we can sense that the students are happy and enjoy learning. Overall this is a fantastic school!

  • I am so grateful to CDL for being a place where my kids can feel confident and accepted. CDL is a place where kids don’t have to be afraid to take risks.

  • I’d never been to boarding school before I came to Collège du Léman, but I started to feel really at home as soon as I arrived. The other students were so welcoming, and the houseparents are always there if you have a problem or need someone to talk to. I’ve done ballet and played the violin since I was little, so it was such a nice surprise to discover that my roommate was also into dance and is in the string ensemble – I love having someone to practise within the evenings! We always eat together as a house, and at the weekends it’s really great to have a big family to go on trips with. Sometimes I miss them over summer, but I’m always allowed to spend at least a week or two back with my friends at camp.

  • At Collège du Léman, I really like how much control I have over my own learning. The classes here are much smaller than in my previous school, and my teacher is always available to help me with anything I’m having trouble with, even outside of class. Our subjects are often centred around the same main topic, so I like the feeling that I am continuing on the same theme between different classes. We are given a lot of choice over how we present our projects and do our research, and we can often choose the area of a topic that interests us most. I recently joined the robotics club after doing a Raspberry Pi project in Science, and it’s been so much fun to be able to continue with my own ideas outside of class!
