QSI Virtual School students have access to a virtual school counselor to support their mental health and wellness needs. Beyond this, students develop a variety of skills relating to their social and emotional development through the school's Empower program. These include self-management, self-awareness, relationship skills, decision-making skills, and social awareness.As an online school, technology and the use of the Internet are essential parts of learning and teaching at QSI Virtual School. One of our top priorities is ensuring the safe and responsible use of the Internet and digital communication technologies by our students. We are committed to educating our students about the benefits and risks of using technology, and we strive to provide safeguards and awareness for students to empower them to control and monitor their online experiences. We support our students in learning how to interact online safely, as well as how to report unwanted online behaviors and the misuse of school platforms.
