Recently, The Global College participated in one of the largest Model United Nations conferences, with more than 400 participants from universities and high schools worldwide, at IE University in Madrid. The delegation demonstrated its communication and diplomatic abilities by participating in two committees: the UNEP, United Nations Environmental Program, and UNICEF.
In the UNEP Committee, they discussed strategies for reinventing cooperation in emergency relief efforts, while in the UNICEF Committee, they dedicated their efforts to combatting child labor in the fashion industry. They addressed critical global issues and explored innovative solutions for these challenges.
The Global College was recognized as the Best High School Delegation at the conference, with students Juan José and Victor receiving the Best Delegate Award and Adrián and Sofia an Honorable Mention.
This recognition represents The Global College’s commitment to nurturing global citizens, with an entrepreneurial and socially conscious mindset to tackle pressing challenges in the future.
