Overview
Pechersk School International (PSI Kyiv) is a not-for-profit international school that was opened in Kyiv in 1995 by a group of parents seeking a genuinely international education for their children.
Today, 30 years later, PSI is the only school in Ukraine that has authorisation to teach the three International Baccalaureate ® (IB) programmes: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme.
In addition to that, PSI offers an additional general education programme accepted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
From its earliest days, PSI has stood for courage, community, and international mindedness. Through periods of peace and times of crisis, we have remained committed to high-quality education, service, and resilience.

Extra curricular
PSI’s co-curricular programme provides students with enriching experiences that foster personal growth, teamwork, and skill development. With approximately eleven co-curricular activities offered each week, the programme evolves seasonally and is adjusted based on student interests to ensure a dynamic and engaging experience.
Facilities
PSI is conveniently located in the residential neighbourhood of Holosiivska. Our campus is easily accessible from Kyiv city centre by public transport or by our private school bus system. Both the Holosiivska and Demiivska blue line Metro stations are a short walk from school. Our campus houses three blocks for our Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary Schools, with specialist facilities that provide ample space and flexibility for events, meetings and extracurricular activities.

Health & safety
PSI has a fully equipped medical office and a nurse. PSI is well-prepared for emergency situations. We are committed to ensure that all students and teachers are safe whilst they are on campus. PSI has constructed the required bomb shelter spaces on campus and has received the official authorisation for their use from the local authorities. PSI keeps well-being at the heart of all that it does. We work together with renowned organisations, and individuals, to provide social, emotional and mental health support. We also focus on physical well-being and create many opportunities for social events for the whole community.
