PSI has a fully equipped medical office and a nurse. PSI is well-prepared for emergency situations. We are committed to ensure that all students and teachers are safe whilst they are on campus. PSI has constructed the required bomb shelter spaces on campus and has received the official authorisation for their use from the local authorities. PSI keeps well-being at the heart of all that it does. We work together with renowned organisations, and individuals, to provide social, emotional and mental health support. We also focus on physical well-being and create many opportunities for social events for the whole community.

Overview

Welcome to Pechersk School International – a place where we belong! PSI is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School since 2000 with campus in Kyiv, Ukraine.

PSI is conveniently located in the residential neighbourhood of Holosiivska, in the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv. Our campus is easily accessible from Kyiv city centre by public transport or by our private school bus system. Both the Holosiivska and Demiivska blue line Metro stations are a short walk from school.

We are delighted with campus renovations completed in 2017, which added a new, state of the art, multi-purpose building, enhancing what we offer to the entire school community. The campus now houses three blocks for our Primary and Secondary Schools, with specialist facilities that provide ample space and flexibility for events, meetings and extracurricular activities.

Academics

PSI is the first and the only school in Ukraine that gained authorisation to teach the three International Baccalaureate ® (IB) programmes: PYP, MYP and DP.

The IB programmes are regarded as prestigious, rigorous and relevant to students’ learning needs for the 21st century as well as the circumstances of internationally mobile families from around the world.

Our curriculum and co curricular activities are regularly reviewed for quality and suitability to ensure that we meet the evolving needs of our community.
