There are many excellent international schools in Paris, but there is only one American School of Paris.

Our state-of-the-art campus in Saint-Cloud provides the perfect backdrop for this journey. Set on 12 verdant acres, it is the largest and most complete campus in the Paris area, gathering students from Grades K3–12 in an environment that fosters creativity and movement. Here, innovation comes to life in professional-grade ceramics, cinema, recording, and design studios, as well as dedicated “Maker” spaces. Our commitment to holistic growth extends to the performing arts, centered around a 300-seat auditorium and intimate black-box theater, and to athletics, where two gymnasiums and multiple outdoor fields support our student-athletes.

With a student-to-faculty ratio of 7:1, we provide the personalized attention that builds social-emotional confidence. Our curriculum is developed around the American approach to education, which offers academic rigor as well as a focus on social and emotional development.
In addition to critical thinking skills and abstract reasoning, students at ASP also hone soft skills including collaboration, leadership, intercultural competency, and self-management—skills necessary for success in the classroom and beyond. The American approach to education instills in students confidence, positivity, and a can-do attitude.
The curriculum of the American School of Paris is standards based. The standards include Grades K3–12, as well as Advanced Placement and the Diploma Program of the International Baccalaureate. The Understanding by Design framework is the format used for framing all curriculum units. The main language of instruction is English, though all students must take French, which is offered at varying levels.

The American School of Paris has the largest offerings of competitive sports, clubs, and after school activities in the Paris region.
While we believe that there is more to athletics than the final score, we have over 30 competitive varsity and junior varsity teams, who travel and compete across Europe.
Our after-school activities program has a world of offerings ranging from private music lessons and musical theater, to robotics and programming, to service learning clubs and student council, to pottery and painting!
We teach our students healthy competition but also how to develop their passions and the values of commitment, grit, sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork, helping to develop our students as a whole.
