We are delighted to announce an exciting new chapter for ISR International School on the Rhine: in August 2027, we will open our new Elementary School campus in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel!
Located in the historic Altes Comenius, one of Düsseldorf’s most distinctive school buildings, ISR Elementary School Düsseldorf will initially welcome students in Grades 1 through 6.
The new campus marks the continued growth of ISR as an established international school with more than two decades of educational experience. Today, more than 1,200 children and young people from the region and around the world learn with ISR at our Neuss campus, which serves students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, as well as at our kindergartens in Düsseldorf and Meerbusch.
Our new Düsseldorf campus will build on this experience, offering families the same curriculum, educational approach, and high standards that define ISR.
Families can look forward to:
- The Cambridge International curriculum, providing a clear academic pathway towards the IGCSE and, later, the IB Diploma
- A staff-to-student ratio of 1:6, enabling individual attention and creating a supportive, engaging learning environment
- Full-day care from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, included at no additional cost
- German language learning for every child, either as a first or additional language, with a third language introduced from Grade 6
- A guaranteed place at our Neuss campus from Grade 7, with no need to reapply
- Close proximity to ISR Kindergarten Düsseldorf-Niederkassel, located just a few hundred metres away and offering additional convenience for families with younger children
