Onze particuliere, niet-confessionele en co-educatieve school bereidt studenten voor om wereldburgers te worden, klaar om de uitdagingen van de toekomst met vertrouwen, competentie en een open geest tegemoet te treden. Ons internationale curriculum
Op El Altillo International School bieden we een compleet internationaal onderwijstraject vanaf de leeftijd van 1 jaar tot toelating tot de universiteit, zodat elke student kan profiteren van een holistische, innovatieve en wereldwijd gerichte leerervaring.
Voorschools en primair onderwijs (IEYC & IPC)
Van 1 tot 12 jaar volgen onze leerlingen de programma's van de International Curriculum Association (ICA): het International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) in Early Years en het International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Primary. Beide kaders bevorderen projectmatig leren, zinvolle ervaringen en de ontwikkeling van sociale, emotionele en cognitieve vaardigheden binnen een tweetalige en multiculturele omgeving.
Secundair (IB-MYP)
Van 12 tot 16 jaar oud gaan leerlingen verder met het International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), dat een holistische benadering van leren biedt. Het verbindt vakken met de echte wereld, versterkt kritisch denken en creativiteit en stimuleert de ontwikkeling van een internationale geest.
Baccalaureaat (IB-DP)
Van 16 tot 18 jaar bereiden onze leerlingen zich voor op hun academische en professionele toekomst door middel van het International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB-DP). Dit tweejarige programma combineert zes vakgroepen met drie kernonderdelen - het Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge (ToK) en Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) - die onderzoek, reflectie, zelfstandigheid en sociale betrokkenheid ontwikkelen.
Dit internationaal erkende curriculum zorgt ervoor dat onze studenten zich ontwikkelen tot wereldburgers, klaar om te slagen in elke academische, professionele en culturele context, met zelfvertrouwen, competentie en een duidelijke visie op de toekomst.

Music and Dance School
Since 2000, our authorised School of Music and Dance has offered elementary-level training and individual instrumental lessons from the age of 3. Students can choose from a wide variety of disciplines, including classical and modern piano, Spanish, classical, acoustic and flamenco guitar, violin, flute, bass guitar, drums, flamenco cajón and music theory. Dance classes are also offered, encouraging artistic expression and creativity.
Sports and After-School Activities
We offer a diverse programme of after-school activities, open not only to our students but also to young people outside the school community. Options include football, basketball, volleyball, rugby, pickleball, paddleball, skating, rhythmic gymnastics and many more. These activities promote teamwork, discipline, resilience and a healthy lifestyle.
Workshops in Secondary and Baccalaureate
As part of our commitment to holistic education, students in Secondary and Baccalaureate enjoy free workshops held during break times. These include creative, cultural and wellbeing activities, as well as initiatives linked to the maker world, with hands-on projects developed in our Fab Lab —a unique space that fosters innovation, design thinking and technological exploration.
Through this varied extracurricular programme, our students are encouraged to explore their passions, express themselves and grow as well-rounded individuals in an inspiring and supportive environment.
