Institut Montana Switzerland recently held its annual IB Visual Arts Exhibition from March 19 to 26 at its Aula Felsenegg on the Zugerberg campus. The exhibition celebrated the creativity and dedication of its graduating Visual Arts students, with this year’s spotlight on Zofia and Gleb – two young talents who have developed unique artistic voices through the IB Diploma Programme.
Gleb: A Journey from Beginner to Bold Creator
Gleb, 19, began his artistic path at Institut Montana with no prior experience. Three years later, he’s built a compelling portfolio of expressive works, including a standout sculpture blending mechanical and organic forms, inspired by H.R. Giger. Gleb plans to study economics but hopes to keep art as a core passion, dreaming of creating his own visual universe.
Zofia: Where Art Meets Architecture
Seventeen-year-old Zofia draws inspiration from Antoni Gaudí, integrating architecture and textile art in her work. Her latest model combines organic forms and crocheted elements, pushing the boundaries of structure and light. Zofia aims to study architecture in the UK, focusing on sustainable design and innovation.
