H-FARM International School has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower the next generation of STEM leaders. Through the H for Human Foundation, 50 full scholarships are now available for students aged 14 and up, offering them access to an exceptional academic journey focused on mathematics, physics, computer science, and design technology.
This bold new project aims to foster a global community of young talent passionate about addressing the challenges of tomorrow through science, technology, and innovation.
“The goal is to build a community of students passionate about subjects that are vital for societal progress,” said Riccardo Donadon, President of the H for Human Foundation. “Through this initiative, we are not only providing scholarships but also creating an ecosystem where donors worldwide can contribute to nurturing the innovators of the future.”
H-FARM is already renowned for its alignment with the rigorous International Baccalaureate standards, and this initiative takes the school’s academic offering to new heights. The scholarships will cover both tuition and boarding costs, ensuring financial barriers do not limit access to world-class education.
The first round of scholarships is reserved for students from CIS countries and the Baltic Republics, enabling them to join H-FARM’s international environment while experiencing Italian culture and traditions. Applicants must hold citizenship in one of these regions, even if they reside elsewhere.
By addressing critical shortages in STEM talent—highlighted by the fact that 40% of companies globally report difficulties in finding qualified candidates—this program positions H-FARM International School as a leader in bridging the gap between education and industry.
Antonello Barbaro, CEO of H-FARM Education, emphasized, “Mathematics and technology play pivotal roles in solving global challenges, from climate change to advancing medicine. This initiative not only supports students but also creates a pipeline of talent ready to tackle these pressing issues.”
Beyond Academics
The scholarship program includes more than just financial aid. Students will benefit from the guidance of specialized educators, Olympiad training, and cross-disciplinary projects that challenge them to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Liliana Braescu, Mathematics Curriculum Expert and Program Leader, explained, “We aim to push the boundaries of the curriculum, fostering problem-solving skills and innovation through hands-on projects spanning physics, mathematics, computer science, and design technology.”
“This project is more than a scholarship fund,” said Emiliano Cori, Head of H-FARM International School. “It’s a step toward building a better future through education, emphasizing values like community, tolerance, and diversity.”
The H for Human Foundation is inviting donors worldwide to contribute to this initiative, expanding opportunities to students from other regions in the near future. As a certified public charity, the Foundation ensures all contributions directly impact young talent.
