Based in Cambridge but accessible anywhere, our online school is stepping up its offering for the 2025 academic year. We are introducing some new features to further benefit students’ learning, including new dedicated assigned tutors, a broader range of extracurricular activities, and a wider selection of International GCSE and A-Level subjects for both the Cambridge and Edexcel exam boards. Our online school is for ages 5 to 18 and seeks to combine the rigour of a UK British education with the flexibility and inclusivity of modern online learning. Here’s a breakdown of the school’s features for the 2025 academic year.
Key 2025 Features – Old & New
- Small, Live Classes
Classes are limited to 10 or fewer students per lesson, allowing for more personalised teaching, better interaction, and greater opportunity for each student to be seen and heard. - Flexible Learning Format
Students can attend live classes or access on-demand recordings depending on what matches their schedule better. Cameras are encourages during lessons but are completely optional, accommodating for students’ needs and ensuring they can feel confident and comfortable in their learning. Our online school also offers both full-time and part-time study, which is helpful for those balancing other commitments such as sports training and travel. - Comprehensive, Interactive Platform
Our online school uses a state-of-the-art online platform that serves as a learning hub for everything learners will need, all in one place. Pupils access their classes, timetables, on-demand resources, homework, and more through this platform, with an easy-to-navigate format. A tutorial with the welcome meeting for its features is also provided and can be accessed at any time. - Curriculum Options / [New] Exam Board Choice
Up to KS3 (Key Stage 3), our online school follows the UK National and Cambridge International curricula, providing a broad and creative curriculum to our students that embodies the key aspects of British education with a flexible and tailored learning approach. - For IGCSE and A-Levels, students have the option to choose between the Cambridge International (CAIE) and Pearson Edexcel exam boards, giving greater flexibility for pupils. This year, we have a wider selection of subjects available, introducing some brand new courses such as human biology, classical civilisations, commerce, citizenship, and environmental management.
- Support & Inclusivity
Our online school accommodates special education needs and disabilities (SEND), adapting teaching styles as needed. We also provide further support for careers and further study as we are a UCAS-registered centre, meaning we have the resources to assist students in their university applications or other post-school paths. Our new dedicated tutor feature also provides personalised support, with every student being assigned to their own tutor. - [New] Extracurricular & Community Elements
Beyond academics, our online school offers extracurricular clubs and activities, giving students ways to connect with peers outside of academics. This year, we have more extracurricular clubs than ever before, with the introduction of our crochet club, craft club, and more. We emphasise creating a positive, engaging, and safe environment with a focus on small-group interaction for individualised attention, and our attention to ethical, safe, and supportive online education. With the addition of our new groups system, students can now also connect with their peers more easily, with whom they share classes. - Exams & [New] Guides
The school itself does not provide physical exam centres, but we provide dedicated support to ensure students can discover the best options for them when finding a local centre and choosing an exam board. We also have new guides and short courses which every student is provided access to, including online safety and safeguarding, as well as exam guides. These are designed to support students in their PSHE learning, as well as helping them plan ahead for their IGCSE and A-Level exams.
Continued Growth
As our online school has continued to grow, we now cater to students from all corners of the world as we continue to branch into new countries. Throughout our continued growth, we have still maintained the same values with students at the forefront of our mindset. We continue to keep our class sizes small and personalised so students can get the most out of their education, bringing in a larger team of friendly and highly qualified teachers who are passionate about the difference they make in every child’s life.
We have been so thankful to receive such an array of positive feedback from both students and parents as we work hard to continue to expand and grow, taking on constructive criticism and continuing to develop the services we provide. For the 2025 academic year, we have introduced new features to help further support students’ learning, as well as create an environment where they can comfortably and safely interact with their peers without the fear of being judged.
Getting Started
If you don’t know where to start, we completely understand. Finding an online school that’s right for you and your child can be a hard process. We strive to ensure this process is stress-free and easy, so you can feel confident in your decision and plan accordingly without worry.
Our online school offers free 7-day trials, which are the perfect solution to discovering if it is the right fit for your family. To book a free trial, we ask that you first set up a consultation with an advisor so we can show you the platform and discuss options in more depth. There are no fees or requirements for our trials, and you can choose which subjects you would like to try out, and when you would ideally like to start the trial.
When your trial starts, you will gain access to all school features through our online learning platform for a week, enabling you to get a feel for how the school works and what services are available. Once your trial finishes, you will lose access to the platform and receive a follow-up email regarding how the trial went and whether you will be joining us. There is no pressure to enrol after the trial, but we would love to have you join our online school community.
