Our Philosophy: Holistic Education

Beyond point scores and pass rates, the IBDP develops critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and exposure to a variety of viewpoints, enabling our graduates to excel at university and beyond. Alongside the IBDP our students have access to a wide variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, outdoor education, personal and social development education, digital citizenship, and service. This year, we celebrated our Grade 12 student VT, whose musical prowess took her to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall. Reflecting on her journey, VT graciously acknowledges, “ISHCMC has provided diverse opportunities, enabling me to research, analyze, and compose, fostering my skills as a balanced musician.” We understand that true success includes personal growth, character development, and academics, which in turn empowers each individual to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Our mission is “To inspire wellbeing and learning so that our diverse, internationally-minded community flourishes as energized, engaged, and empowered learners.”

WSPost-A Culture of Care
