Smiling International School offers two different types of accommodation: Boarding School for students aged 14 to 18, Loft Apartments for students aged 18+.
Smiling Boarding School offers boarding service for High School students, including minors, who can choose to live in the rooms located at the Roversella Campus. In fact, the rooms are on the top floor of Palazzo Gulinelli with a nice view to Via Armari. The Boarding School service is also an added value for IBDP students who can relocate to Ferrara and fully enjoy the international experience of the program itself.
The Boarding School facilities include lunch during school days, weekly cleaning of linen, weekly cleaning service and open access to the laundry room. Free Wifi is available in the school and boarding spaces. Each Boarding Accommodation is a double room with a private bathroom; every student has a desk, a small fridge and a closet for their personal use.
In Smiling, we believe in reassuring the families and making the students feel safe, so on the same floor as the students’ rooms is the tutor accommodation. The tutor is a person dedicated to the students, the tutor takes good care of them and helps out in many different daily aspects such as using the laundry machine, e.g. A true point of reference for families, students and school staff.
Smiling Loft Apartments is a student residence for university students in Ferrara.
The student residence is located on the top floor of Palazzo Gulinelli, in Corso Ercole I d’Este, a recently restored ancient noble building. The tenants of the Smiling Loft Apartments stay in large rooms with private bathrooms and share common areas such as the kitchen and dining room, the relaxation area and the laundry room, all with modern equipment. A solution for PhD doctoral and university students coming from outside Ferrara equipped with all comforts and an enviable historical charm!
These are 12 rooms with a study corner and private bathroom, overlooking Corso Ercole I d’Este or the large private internal park. On the top floor of the building there is a splendid terrace that offers a beautiful view over the whole city. The building, rooms and common areas are accessed with a unique magnetic card which, when inserted and left in the electronic reader inside the room, also activates the electricity.
