The International School of Moscow
The International School of Moscow (ISM) offers a contemporary English international education to students aged from 2 to 18, from Early Years through to Secondary and Sixth Form. Established in 2007, the School has a student body of over 1000 students and boasts more than 60 nationalities.
ISM has two campuses located in Moscow’s most exclusive areas: Krylatskoe and Rosinka International Residences.
In October 2019, The International School of Moscow was inspected by The Independent Schools Inspectorate and was, for the third consecutive time, graded as ‘Excellent’ in all areas.
The school is a member of Nord Anglia Education, a growing network of 77 schools established across the globe, and collaborates with world-leading organisations, including the Juilliard School, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and UNICEF.
The education programme at ISM is based on the English National Curriculum (ENC), which offers the highly-respected GCSE and A Level qualifications for older students.
ISM A Level students consistently attain well above UK and world averages, with a staggering 79% of all A Level results coming in between A*-B in 2021. Over the past six years, more than 100 students have become ISM alumni. Almost half of these students have entered the Top 100 Universities in the world, including the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, New York University, the University of Toronto, the University of Michigan, UCLA, and many more.
All our students – from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to IGCSEs and A-levels – follow the English National Curriculum. We are one of the only schools in Moscow to offer this rigorous all-through British education, which is adapted to our international context. Used by more than 30,000 schools worldwide, our curriculum is also respected by the world’s top universities and employers.
The International School of Moscow offers the after-school activities (ASAs) programme that includes a range of activities including sport, music, art and modern foreign languages.
At ISM, the world really is your child’s oyster. We offer one of the broadest after-school activity programmes in Russia, ensuring our students enjoy a myriad of opportunities to do what they love and try new things.
Our after-school activities broaden our students’ knowledge of the world and develop essential skills like communication, leadership, public speaking, project management, and organisation. Some of our most popular clubs include STEAM, TED talks, art and crafts, and cyberdiscovery.
