Academics
At Southpointe Academy, students are nurtured to become passionate, engaged learners prepared for a successful future in an ever-changing world. The school’s educational program combines the strength of the British Columbia curriculum with the globally respected International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, empowering students to take ownership of their learning and develop future-ready skills.

Southpointe is one of the few schools in Canada—and the only school in Delta—authorized to deliver the full IB Continuum from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Beyond academics, Southpointe emphasizes the development of character and resilience through a rich array of enrichment opportunities. Facilities
Southpointe Academy is expanding and enriching its curricular and co-curricular offerings for students and families with additional specialist classrooms and amenities. Southpointe will be able to offer more courses from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as the only secular International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School south of the Fraser River, and enrich the strength of its athletics, arts, outdoor education and service-learning programs. The expansion will also provide more families in Delta with the option of sending their children to an independent school without taking the bus to Vancouver. The growth of Southpointe will serve local families’ needs, enhance the local economy and enrich the overall community development of South Delta.
