Growing curious, confident minds
As part of International Schools Partnership, every child’s journey is enriched with proven learning experiences that forever spark curiosity and grow confidence.
Students at Newton College receive a well-rounded education, progressing from Early Years to Sixth Form. As part of International Schools Partnership – ISP and through the integration of the British and Spanish curricula, they develop the skills and attitude needed to thrive in a globalised world.
Early Years
At Newton, our youngest learners aged 1 – 5 are welcomed into a nurturing and stimulating environment, where they explore, learn and grow through play-based activities and personalised support.
Students build a strong foundation for both academic and emotional development by sparking curiosity and fostering creativity.
Primary School
Students aged 5 – 11 benefit from an integrated approach that combines the British National Curriculum with the International Primary Curriculum, promoting independence, personal development and confidence.
Surrounded by a bilingual English-Spanish environment, they develop their language skills and cultural understanding while developing the skills needed to succeed in a global society.
Secondary School
During Secondary School, students benefit from a programme that combines the National Curriculum and the Middle Years Programme (MYP). They focus on developing resilience, critical thinking and global awareness while preparing for examinations.
By taking responsibility for their own learning and personal development, learners build a strong foundation for their future as responsible, ambitious young adults.
National Baccalaureate
Students aged 16 – 18 engage in the Spanish Baccalaureate, preparing for university and future careers. They also have the option to choose the International Baccalaureate at this stage. During Years 12 and 13, students follow the official Spanish curriculum, specialising in either Health Sciences or Social Sciences pathways.
International Baccalaureate
Through the International Baccalaureate Diploma, students receive the opportunity to develop their academic and personal potential through a bilingual, broad, balanced and challenging curriculum tailored to their needs and abilities. They also have the option to choose the National Baccalaureate at this stage.
The IB Diploma programme – with its inspiring vision, thoughtful philosophy and values-driven curriculum, prepares students to excel in university and embrace the challenges of adult life with confidence.
