Mirabal International School

Founded in 1982 by a group of teachers, Mirabal International School is a private, co-educational and non-religious school with more than 1,800 students distributed between the nursery, primary, secondary and sixth form school stages. The school offers a bilingual education from the age of 2 and multilingual program in English, French and German from the age of 3.Located in an outstanding natural setting in the north west of Madrid, Mirabal offers excellent facilities at the service of an innovative educational project based on interactive and practical learning. The school occupies a total of 45,000 m2 and offers a wide range of sports and academic facilities, including tennis courts, athletics tracks, two swimming pools and several laboratories.

The constant training of teachers in active and innovative methodologies, the integration of iPads in the classroom and subjects such as robotics are some of the key tools used to bring students closer to the most advanced learning resources. Students learn to research, discriminate, contrast and select information from a very young age.
Students can choose to follow Spanish National Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate or a double-honors program. Its multilingual program is offered by native teachers and is especially designed to stimulate physical intellectual, social and artistic development.
Mirabal is a certified music school, where students can obtain an official Music Elementary Degree in the instrument of their choice. Emotional intelligence is a main focus of Mirabal’s educational project.
