Overview
ISN, a coeducational, state-recognised full-day Cambridge International School for all students aged between 4 and 18, focuses on differentiated learning within a highly respectful environment. With a school culture embedded in the belief that all human beings are unique and deserve to develop into their own personality, ISN combines the internationally recognised Cambridge programmes, elements from the renowned Swiss education group, SBW Haus des Lernens and other cutting-edge pedagogy to tailor its educational approach towards the individual needs of its students, or ‘learning partners’. While the language of instruction is English, our German language programme caters to both native and non-native German speakers. For non-native English speakers, ISN offers an English as a Second Language programme (ESL) within its Primary Years, which supports our learning partners while they adjust to a new language. In everything we do, we strive to give our learning partners the skills and values they will need to not only be successful academically but also to be able to handle the demands of an ever-changing world.

Academics
ISN’s educational offer combines the world-renowned Cambridge Programmes (Cambridge Primary, IGCSE and International AS & A Levels) along with elements from the esteemed Swiss education group, SBW Haus des Lernens, which can be summed up best with the motto: ‘Curriculum Follows Passion.’ ISN focuses on a holistic approach towards education, recognising that all three aspects of development: academic, social and emotional, are crucial in an individual’s path towards personal development in an ever-changing global context. Learning takes place in small class sizes, within caring learning environments, allowing our educators opportunities to differentiate learning material and approach each learning partner individually. As our pedagogic philosophy focuses on developing individual talents and passions, at ISN we understand that each child is unique, and some might require further academic, emotional or social support.
