All YCIS students are encouraged to take advantage of the multitude of opportunities to participate in activities within our Co-Curricular programme. Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) refer to activities, programmes, and learning experiences that complement what students are learning in class to further
their development.
CCAs are essential in developing the ‘whole’ child, including students’ intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and creative potentials – a holistic approach that is at the core of our YCIS Mission, Principles and Practices. Students participating in CCAs are given the opportunity to work with peers from different classes and year groups, which helps foster new friendships, nurtures self-confidence and supports their social development.
We know that active participation in CCAs supports students in developing the character, skills and attributes that serve them so well in their studies at YCIS, at university and beyond.
