Давайте посмотрим, как выглядит учебная программа Международного бакалавриата и как она работает:

Организация IB изначально была создана в ответ на недостаточную гибкость различных школьных систем по всему миру. Сегодня система образования IB признана более чем в 140 странах мира, и многие крупные университеты Великобритании и Северной Америки весьма положительно относятся к студентам, получившим диплом IB.

Школы, работающие по программе Международного бакалавриата, известны как школы IB World Schools. Педагоги обязаны тесно сотрудничать с консультантом IB, прежде чем получить квалификацию школы как школы IB World School. Этот процесс включает в себя подачу школой заявки на участие в программе, в которой излагается её стремление соответствовать стандартам IB World Schools, а также юридическая документация и бюджетные ведомости. Школа подаёт соответствующие документы в IB, оплачивая регистрационный взнос. Команда IB затем взаимодействует со школой, предоставляя обратную связь по заявке и оказывая поддержку на протяжении всего периода рассмотрения заявки. При отсутствии дополнительных замечаний генеральный директор команды IB разрешает учебному заведению преподавать все соответствующие предметы IB.

When students are regularly transferring from one school to another, the content (even within the same curriculum) may not always be the same, but the ability to think critically, to learn independently, to work together with others, to analyse research, to solve problems, and to take responsibility for their own learning are all transferable and allow easy transition from an IB school into any other school. For example, here at BEPS we have had students arrive from locations as diverse as Gabon, Hong Kong, and Colombia and have had leaving students successfully join IB schools in other countries. We also see students reintegrating into local schools in their home country. Our IB coordinator has worked with students who have gone on to higher education locally in Belgium, in the UK, and across Europe, Australia and Asia.

Вот на что следует обращать внимание при выборе выдающейся школы, работающей по программе Международного бакалавриата:

1. Аккредитации

Аккредитация школы IB World School подтверждает, что школа достигла высокого стандарта образования IBO и всегда стремится его поддерживать. Прежде всего, убедитесь, что школа имеет соответствующую аккредитацию. Школа, имеющая сертификат IB, должна быть авторизована для каждой предлагаемой ею программы IB. Наличие аккредитации означает, что школа соответствует высоким стандартам всемирной программы IB. Вы можете обнаружить, что не все школы IB предлагают все программы, поэтому ребёнок, поступающий в школу IB, может посещать курсы IB в одни годы, а в другие — нет.

We at BEPS International School believe that a major difference between the IB Curriculum and other international curricula lies in the way you apply the IB curriculum. Developing skills and attitudes
The IB curriculum places a high importance on developing skills and attitudes. When students are regularly transferring from one school to another, the content (even within the same curriculum) may not always be the same, but the ability to think critically, to learn independently, to work together with others, to analyse research, to solve problems, and to take responsibility for their own learning are all transferable and allow easy transition from an IB school into any other school. For example, here at BEPS we have had students arrive from locations as diverse as Gabon, Hong Kong, and Colombia and have had leaving students successfully join IB schools in other countries. We also see students reintegrating into local schools in their home country. Our IB coordinator has worked with students who have gone on to higher education locally in Belgium, in the UK, and across Europe, Australia and Asia.
