Welke landen hebben de beste skischolen?
Amerika
Er zijn veel kostscholen in Amerika waar je tijdens je studie kunt leren skiën of je bestaande vaardigheden kunt verbeteren. De meeste van deze scholen bevinden zich in de VS en Canada, en het Noord-Amerikaanse skiseizoen loopt doorgaans van november tot april. Europa

Azië
Azië biedt verschillende bestemmingen voor wie op zoek is naar een internaat met een skiprogramma. Hoewel skiën niet populair is in Zuid-Korea, trekken een paar bergen buiten Seoul enthousiaste boarders aan. Het winterseizoen in Hong Kong is kort, maar Tai Mo Shan, een top van 2200 meter hoog, wordt door atleten van wereldklasse gebruikt als warming-up. De Hakuba-vallei in de prefectuur Nagano, langs de oostkust van Japan, is beroemd onder de inwoners van Tokio sinds hier de Olympische Winterspelen van 1998 plaatsvonden.
