Set within the Surrey Hills, RGS Surrey Hills offers students the space and facilities to make the most of school life, both during the academic day and beyond it.
Our campus brings together teaching, boarding, sport, music and outdoor activities in one setting. Students have access to a modern sports centre, extensive outdoor spaces and sports facilities, a dedicated music school and a range of areas for study, activities and socialising.
As part of the Reigate Grammar School family of schools, we also work closely with our partner schools, giving students access to wider opportunities, shared facilities and grounds, as well as collaboration across sport, academic subjects and co-curricular activities. This gives students the personal experience of a smaller school with the additional opportunities that come from being part of a wider school group.
Boarding is at the heart of campus life. The school has six boarding houses, with options for full, weekly and flexible boarding. Each house is supported by residential staff, giving students a familiar base within the school and access to support outside the academic day.
With our students from our weekly boarding and our international students, living on campus means much more than having somewhere to stay. Boarders can use the school's facilities beyond lessons and take part in a programme of evening and weekend activities, sport, trips and social events. With students from more than 30 nationalities, boarding also provides an immediate community for those arriving in the UK from overseas.
Our location in the Surrey Hills gives students the benefit of a spacious countryside campus while remaining within easy reach of London and the UK's major international airports. This combination is particularly valuable for international families looking for a UK boarding school that offers space, community and good connections to the capital.
From sport and music to boarding and outdoor activities, students have the facilities and opportunities to pursue existing interests, try something new and get involved in school life from the moment they arrive.
