Resumen
BBIS ES UN COLEGIO INTERNADO Y DE DÍA LÍDER A NIVEL INTERNACIONAL Bienvenido a BBIS Berlin Brandenburg International School, un lugar donde se capacita a los estudiantes para alcanzar su potencial único y prosperar en un escenario global.
Si bien el inglés es nuestro idioma de instrucción, BBIS es una escuela verdaderamente internacional.
Nuestros estudiantes provienen de familias de todo el mundo y comparten nuestros valores de humanidad, tolerancia y empatía. Juntos, construimos una comunidad solidaria y con mentalidad internacional de estudiantes, profesores y exalumnos: personas con el potencial de dejar una huella positiva en nuestro mundo.
Cada año, recibimos a unos 820 alumnos externos y a unos 80 internos, de entre 3 y 19 años. Estos alumnos dedican sus días a desarrollar habilidades invaluables para toda la vida, como el pensamiento crítico, los idiomas y las competencias interculturales, en nuestras áreas de educación infantil, primaria y secundaria.
- Desde los 3 a los 6 años, los niños se unen a nuestra comunidad de educación temprana y aprenden en el marco del Programa de la Escuela Primaria IB.
- Desde los 6 a los 11 años, los estudiantes se unen a los grados 1 a 5 para seguir el Programa de la Escuela Primaria IB.
- Desde los 11 hasta los 19 años, los estudiantes se unen a nuestra escuela secundaria para realizar el Programa de los Años Intermedios IB y el Programa del Diploma IB.
En todos estos programas, alentamos a los estudiantes a ser valientes y explorar nuevas oportunidades, fomentando un espíritu pionero que les ayudará a tener éxito, sin importar lo que les depare el futuro.
Nuestro objetivo general en BBIS es ayudar a los estudiantes a convertirse en seres humanos felices y completos.
Nuestras clases son pequeñas, generalmente con menos de 20 estudiantes, para que todos reciban atención y apoyo individualizados. Más allá del aula, la colaboración y la cooperación entre el personal, los estudiantes, los padres y la comunidad en general es fundamental para nosotros.

Ideally situated in the centre of campus, the BBIS Boarding house is a comfortable and nurturing environment which supports the personal and academic growth of our students. A friendly team of mentors are here to help care for your child at all times.
ALOJAMIENTO

To help your child feel right at home, we encourage them to bring their favourite personal items – such as lamps, cushions, or rugs – to decorate their rooms. It’s their space, after all.

A common room, which is a popular space for watching films and simply hanging out

COMMUNITY KITCHENS
On every level of the boarding house, students are often found in our community kitchens. These welcoming spaces are a place where students can prepare their own snacks and drinks outside of formal mealtimes.
Each community kitchen also includes laundry facilities and student fridges.
CAFETERIA
Boarding students enjoy their meals together in our school cafeteria, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner provided, as well as brunch on weekends. The cafeteria is a wonderful space to sit together with friends and the mentor team to share a meal.

OUTSTANDING SPORTING FACILITIES
From track and field to tennis, badminton to basketball, our students can pursue their favourite sports at BBIS. Our sports facilities include:
A full-size artificial-turf field – Our sports field features a six-lane running track, a sand court for beach volleyball, basketball courts, plus facilities for high and long jump, discus and shot put. With floodlights and bleachers that can hold 820 spectators, we proudly host larger tournaments with other schools, too.
The BBIS Sports Hall – With three separate gymnasiums, audience seating and a fitness room, our multipurpose sports hall can be combined into one large space for basketball, volleyball, handball, indoor soccer and tennis. There’s a climbing wall, rings, climbing ropes, wall bars and other professional-quality sports equipment, too. Beyond sport and fitness, the hall can also be used as an auditorium, theatre and concert hall.
Playgrounds – There are plenty of playgrounds and recreational areas around the campus, giving students healthy, active options during their breaks from the classroom.
