THINK Global School: The World’s First Traveling High School

At THINK Global School (TGS), the world’s only traveling high school, students live and learn across four countries each year. Along the way, they gain the skills, perspectives, and friendships needed to thrive in today’s interconnected world. In an age of constant digital connection, TGS prioritizes authentic, human experiences. Students ages 16–18 in Grades 11–12 experience life in up to eight countries over two years while earning a fully WASC-accredited diploma through real-world immersion and genuine cultural exchange.

What Makes TGS Unique?

Instead of textbooks and lectures, students dive into project-based learning through TGS’s innovative Changemaker Curriculum. Imagine:

• Exploring ancient philosophy as you trace Odysseus’ path through Greece
• Scuba diving off Australia’s coast while cataloging marine life for data models
• Designing sustainability solutions for urban life in Mexico City

Each eight-week term focuses on a multidisciplinary project that tackles real-world issues while drawing inspiration from the host country’s culture, environment, and community.
With a faculty-to-student ratio of 4:1, students receive individualized guidance from multicultural educators who act as mentors as well as teachers. Since 2010, TGS has called 34 extraordinary countries home, creating a truly global classroom unlike any other.

TGS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC). With a 100 percent graduation rate and 92 percent of alumni continuing on to universities in more than 100 institutions worldwide, TGS prepares students to excel academically and personally. The program is a two-year commitment: students enter in Grade 11 and graduate at the conclusion of Grade 12 with an internationally recognized diploma.
