Öğrencilerimiz, dünyanın dört bir yanından gelen ve insanlık, hoşgörü ve empati değerlerimizi paylaşan ailelerden geliyor. Birlikte, dünyamızda olumlu bir iz bırakma potansiyeline sahip öğrenciler, öğretmenler ve mezunlardan oluşan, şefkatli ve uluslararası düşünceye sahip bir topluluk oluşturuyoruz.
Her yıl, 3 ila 19 yaşları arasında yaklaşık 820 gündüzlü ve yaklaşık 80 yatılı öğrenciyi ağırlıyoruz. Bu öğrenciler, okul öncesi eğitim, ilkokul ve ortaokul alanlarımızda eleştirel düşünme, dil ve kültürlerarası yeterlilik gibi paha biçilmez, yaşam boyu sürecek beceriler geliştirerek günlerini geçiriyorlar:
- 3-6 yaş arası çocuklar erken eğitim topluluğumuza katılır ve IB İlk Yıllar Programı çerçevesinde eğitim alırlar.
- 6-11 yaş aralığındaki öğrenciler, IB İlk Yıllar Programı'nı takip etmek için 1. sınıftan 5. sınıfa kadar olan sınıflara katılırlar
- 11-19 yaş arası öğrenciler, IB Orta Yıllar Programı ve IB Diploma Programı'nı takip etmek için ortaokulumuza katılırlar.
Tüm bu programlarda, öğrencilerimizi cesur olmaya ve yeni fırsatları keşfetmeye teşvik ediyor, gelecekte ne olursa olsun başarılı olmalarına yardımcı olacak öncü bir ruhu destekliyoruz.
BBIS'teki en önemli hedefimiz, öğrencilerin mutlu ve çok yönlü insanlar olmalarına yardımcı olmaktır.
Sınıflarımız küçüktür (genellikle 20'den az öğrenciden oluşur), böylece herkes bireysel ilgi ve destek alır. Sınıfın ötesinde, personel, öğrenciler, veliler ve daha geniş topluluk arasındaki iş birliği ve dayanışma bizim için çok önemlidir.

Ideally situated in the centre of campus, the BBIS Boarding house is a comfortable and nurturing environment which supports the personal and academic growth of our students. A friendly team of mentors are here to help care for your child at all times.

To help your child feel right at home, we encourage them to bring their favourite personal items – such as lamps, cushions, or rugs – to decorate their rooms. It’s their space, after all.
FACILITIES
A range of quality facilities are available to all boarding students, with a focus on promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Boarding facilities include:
A common room, which is a popular space for watching films and simply hanging out
A games room, full of fun games to enjoy with friends
Outdoor spaces in our boarding garden, where students can enjoy mealtimes in the summer, play sports and relax
A conference room with several computers and a student printer, as well as another large flatscreen TV (this space is also used for games, arts and crafts)
A gym and weights room
Wi-Fi is available throughout the boarding house.
COMMUNITY KITCHENS
On every level of the boarding house, students are often found in our community kitchens. These welcoming spaces are a place where students can prepare their own snacks and drinks outside of formal mealtimes.
Each community kitchen also includes laundry facilities and student fridges.
CAFETERIA
Boarding students enjoy their meals together in our school cafeteria, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner provided, as well as brunch on weekends. The cafeteria is a wonderful space to sit together with friends and the mentor team to share a meal.

OUTSTANDING SPORTING FACILITIES
From track and field to tennis, badminton to basketball, our students can pursue their favourite sports at BBIS. Our sports facilities include:
A full-size artificial-turf field – Our sports field features a six-lane running track, a sand court for beach volleyball, basketball courts, plus facilities for high and long jump, discus and shot put. With floodlights and bleachers that can hold 820 spectators, we proudly host larger tournaments with other schools, too.
The BBIS Sports Hall – With three separate gymnasiums, audience seating and a fitness room, our multipurpose sports hall can be combined into one large space for basketball, volleyball, handball, indoor soccer and tennis. There’s a climbing wall, rings, climbing ropes, wall bars and other professional-quality sports equipment, too. Beyond sport and fitness, the hall can also be used as an auditorium, theatre and concert hall.
Playgrounds – There are plenty of playgrounds and recreational areas around the campus, giving students healthy, active options during their breaks from the classroom.
