Boston School International is an authorized school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) and Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to improving the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high-quality programs of international education that share a powerful vision.
IB Early Learning Program (PK)
At Boston School International, we believe that in early childhood, “playing is child’s work,” and playing is essential for brain building. We cultivate curiosity, creativity, and promote learning through play. As an IB World School accredited to offer the Primary Years Program (PYP), we foster independent learning and critical thinking through units of inquiry.
IB Primary Years Program (K-5)
As an IB World School accredited to offer the Primary Years Program (PYP), we cultivate independent learning and critical thinking through inquiry-based units. Our goal is to develop socially responsible individuals capable of embracing challenges and contributing to socio-cultural, ethical, and sustainable progress.
IB Middle Years Program (6-10)
The Middle Years Program aims to develop active learners and internationally minded young people who can empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose and meaning.
The program empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally, and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. The MYP is a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world. The MYP is inclusive by design; students of all interests and academic abilities can benefit from their participation.
IB Diploma Program (11-12)
The program aims to develop students who have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge—students who flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically.
Through the Diploma Program (DP) core, students reflect on the nature of knowledge, complete independent research and undertake a project that involves community service.
Extra curricular
At BSI, learning extends beyond the classroom with a wide variety of after-school programs designed to nurture creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. Students can explore arts and culture through activities like Arts & Crafts, Plastilina, Film, and Dance. For those passionate about sports, options include Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Karate, Cheerleading, and Kids Gym—helping students build discipline, fitness, and team spirit.
Technology and strategy are also central, with Robotics, Chess, Debate, and Minecraft providing opportunities to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital skills. Younger students benefit from early stimulation programs that strengthen cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Through this diverse extracurricular offering, BSI empowers students from early years to high school to discover talents, build confidence, and pursue their passions in a supportive environment.
