Ogni anno accogliamo circa 820 studenti diurni e circa 80 studenti in convitto, dai 3 ai 19 anni. Questi studenti trascorrono le loro giornate sviluppando competenze preziose e durature, come il pensiero critico, le lingue e le competenze interculturali, nei nostri ambiti di istruzione per la prima infanzia, primaria e secondaria:
- Dai 3 ai 6 anni, i bambini si uniscono alla nostra comunità di educazione precoce e apprendono nell'ambito del programma IB Primary Years
- Dai 6 agli 11 anni, gli studenti si uniscono alle classi dalla 1 alla 5 per seguire il programma IB Primary Years
- Dall'età di 11 a 19 anni, gli studenti si iscrivono alla nostra scuola secondaria per seguire il programma IB Middle Years e il programma IB Diploma
In tutti questi programmi incoraggiamo gli studenti a essere coraggiosi e a esplorare nuove opportunità, promuovendo uno spirito pionieristico che li aiuterà ad avere successo, indipendentemente da ciò che riserva il futuro.
Il nostro obiettivo principale presso BBIS è aiutare gli studenti a diventare persone felici e complete.
Le nostre classi sono piccole, solitamente con meno di 20 studenti, in modo che ognuno riceva attenzione e supporto individuali. Oltre all'aula, la collaborazione e la cooperazione tra personale, studenti, genitori e la comunità in generale sono per noi molto importanti.
Crescere non è facile, ma comprendiamo le sfide e i cambiamenti che si presentano. Supportiamo i nostri studenti con professionisti dedicati e attenti in ogni fase del percorso. Ideally situated in the centre of campus, the BBIS Boarding house is a comfortable and nurturing environment which supports the personal and academic growth of our students. A friendly team of mentors are here to help care for your child at all times.
CAMERE
I nostri studenti in convitto vivono in confortevoli camere doppie, ciascuna con bagno privato. Le camere vengono assegnate in base al genere, all'anno scolastico e alla lingua madre; occasionalmente sono disponibili camere singole per gli studenti del 12° anno.
To help your child feel right at home, we encourage them to bring their favourite personal items – such as lamps, cushions, or rugs – to decorate their rooms. It’s their space, after all.
FACILITIES
A range of quality facilities are available to all boarding students, with a focus on promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Boarding facilities include:
A common room, which is a popular space for watching films and simply hanging out
A games room, full of fun games to enjoy with friends
Outdoor spaces in our boarding garden, where students can enjoy mealtimes in the summer, play sports and relax
A conference room with several computers and a student printer, as well as another large flatscreen TV (this space is also used for games, arts and crafts)
A gym and weights room
Wi-Fi is available throughout the boarding house.
COMMUNITY KITCHENS
On every level of the boarding house, students are often found in our community kitchens. These welcoming spaces are a place where students can prepare their own snacks and drinks outside of formal mealtimes.
Each community kitchen also includes laundry facilities and student fridges.
CAFETERIA
Boarding students enjoy their meals together in our school cafeteria, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner provided, as well as brunch on weekends. The cafeteria is a wonderful space to sit together with friends and the mentor team to share a meal.

Through the ECA programme, our students meet new friends, learn how to be risk-takers, and share and learn new passions – all while having fun along the way! It’s a great way to learn new skills and fully become part of our international school community.With a diverse range of activities on offer, the ECA programme aims to further open the minds and eyes of our students, to give them new challenges to look forward to. OUTSTANDING SPORTING FACILITIES
From track and field to tennis, badminton to basketball, our students can pursue their favourite sports at BBIS. Our sports facilities include:
A full-size artificial-turf field – Our sports field features a six-lane running track, a sand court for beach volleyball, basketball courts, plus facilities for high and long jump, discus and shot put. With floodlights and bleachers that can hold 820 spectators, we proudly host larger tournaments with other schools, too.
The BBIS Sports Hall – With three separate gymnasiums, audience seating and a fitness room, our multipurpose sports hall can be combined into one large space for basketball, volleyball, handball, indoor soccer and tennis. There’s a climbing wall, rings, climbing ropes, wall bars and other professional-quality sports equipment, too. Beyond sport and fitness, the hall can also be used as an auditorium, theatre and concert hall.
Playgrounds – There are plenty of playgrounds and recreational areas around the campus, giving students healthy, active options during their breaks from the classroom.
