Programma
Eerde International Boarding School in the Netherlands is a place where learning is celebrated and students are inspired to succeed. We offer curriculum pathways designed to support individual goals, including the Pre-IB programme that prepares students for success in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), as well as the American High School Diploma. Depending on the age of entry, a combination of certificates and diplomas may also be possible.
Most of our students aim for admission to leading universities worldwide, making the IBDP the core focus of our academic offer. Eerde is fully accredited by Cambridge Education, the International Baccalaureate Organisation, and the Middle States Association.
Our university counsellor works closely with each student throughout their academic journey, ensuring they receive personalised guidance, clear timelines, and all essential information for successful university applications.

At Eerde International Boarding School, our fees reflect the high-quality education, personalised learning environment, and full support we provide to every student. Tuition fees include classroom teaching, supervision, media resources, lunch, fruit, and refreshments. Boarding fees cover accommodation, meals, laundry, supervised study sessions, weekend activities, and 24/7 pastoral care.
We offer several academic pathways—including Pre-IB, IBDP, and American High School Diploma—and a wide range of after-school programmes, sports, cultural activities, and enrichment experiences. Additional services such as private tutoring, language support, music lessons, and transport are available to meet individual needs.
Eerde also provides flexible boarding options including full boarding, weekly boarding, and occasional boarding, allowing families to choose what best supports their child.
A siblings discount is available for families with more than one child enrolled.

Although we are unable to provide fee reductions or merit-based scholarships, we are always happy to support families by offering clear guidance on our fee structure, boarding options, and payment expectations.

Students can choose from a wide range of sports, cultural, musical, creative, and social activities designed to help them discover their passions and develop new skills. Eerde promotes physical well-being and encourages a healthy, active lifestyle. Our sports teams participate in intramural competitions with other international schools, and we offer a variety of fitness activities—from football, basketball, and tennis to yoga, outdoor fitness, and personal training sessions. Students can also explore creative interests such as drama, photography, digital media, art studio sessions, music ensembles, robotics, debate club, entrepreneurship workshops, Model United Nations, and more. Adventure and global experience are an important part of life at Eerde. Set on a historic castle estate in the peaceful town of Ommen, Eerde International Boarding School offers a uniquely inspiring environment where students can learn, live, and grow. Our campus combines the charm of heritage architecture with modern, well-equipped learning spaces—including bright classrooms, IB study rooms, art and music studios, a library and study centre, and dedicated creative facilities. Students enjoy excellent sports and wellness amenities, from indoor and outdoor fields to fitness spaces and access to nature for outdoor activities. Our comfortable boarding houses create a warm, supportive home-away-from-home, complete with common rooms, supervised study areas, and 24/7 pastoral care. This school requires a minimum enrollment of 9 months, ensuring students have adequate time to benefit from the curriculum and educational experience.

Health & safety
We have staff members with medical skills on site. If needed we can take the students to the doctors office or hospital, all medical professional speak English.
