UWC Dilijan (UWCD) is one of 18 schools of the United World Colleges (UWC) movement with a mission to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. It is the only UWC in the region and the first international boarding school in Armenia. Located in\u00a0 Dilijan on the ancient silk route and at a crossroads of Europe and the Middle East, UWCD\u00a0 symbolises the idea of internationalism and friendship. Offering a two-year IB Diploma Programme for students ages 16 to 18, it has 220 students from 80 countries and an international faculty of 40 from 15 countries. UWCD\u2019s magnificent well-equipped campus extends over 8 hectares of sloping and wooded countryside, located in the Dilijan National Park.<\/p>\n
