Our sports programme is carefully designed to promote physical skills, building confidence and competence in a range of activities.<\/p>\n
Sports form part of the core curriculum, teaching learners to select and apply their abilities, tactics and compositional ideals to activities that require varying approaches and thought processes. Learners will set targets for themselves, develop perseverance, understand what it takes to succeed, and compete in teams or as individuals, while also acknowledging the success of others. We encourage them to take initiative, lead activities and improve aspects of their own performance. The sporting activities available will vary as the children move through the school. Options will include swimming, athletics, gymnastics, dance and team games such as football, netball, rounders, tennis, hockey and touch rugby.<\/p>\n
Drama<\/p>\n
Drama is taught by our Head of Music and Drama specialist teacher. It is a wonderful opportunity for our learners to gain confidence and self-esteem, while also extending their imagination. Our comprehensive music programme aims to develop children\u2019s musical sensitivity and understanding.
