ISU, yedi se\u00e7ilmi\u015f ve iki atanm\u0131\u015f \u00fcyeden olu\u015fan bir y\u00f6netim kurulu taraf\u0131ndan y\u00f6netilen, k\u00e2r amac\u0131 g\u00fctmeyen bir okuldur. \u00d6\u011frencilerimize, e\u011fitim programlar\u0131m\u0131za, personelimize ve kamp\u00fcs\u00fcm\u00fcze s\u00fcrekli yat\u0131r\u0131m yap\u0131yoruz. A\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki prestijli Uluslararas\u0131 Bakalorya (IB) Programlar\u0131n\u0131 sunuyoruz: \u2022 3-11 ya\u015f aras\u0131 \u0130lk Y\u0131llar Program\u0131 (PYP); \u2022 11-16 ya\u015f aras\u0131 Orta Y\u0131llar Program\u0131 (MYP); ve \u2022 16-19 ya\u015f aras\u0131 Diploma Program\u0131 (DP). Erken \u00c7ocukluk E\u011fitimi b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcm\u00fcz 2,5 ya\u015f\u0131ndan itibaren \u00e7ocuklar\u0131 kabul etmektedir. Tesislerimiz aras\u0131nda d\u00f6rt adet tam donan\u0131ml\u0131, son teknoloji fen laboratuvar\u0131, kamp\u00fcs genelinde internet ve kablosuz ba\u011flant\u0131ya sahip \u00fc\u00e7 bilgisayar laboratuvar\u0131, 25.000 ciltlik bir k\u00fct\u00fcphane, iki spor sahas\u0131, spor salonu, 400 metrelik ko\u015fu parkuru, iki y\u00fczme havuzu, d\u00f6rt tenis kortu ve Erken \u00c7ocukluk e\u011fitimi i\u00e7in ayr\u0131 tesisler bulunmaktad\u0131r. Okul \u015fu anda m\u00fczik, g\u00f6rsel sanatlar, dans ve drama dersliklerinin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra 450 ki\u015filik bir oditoryumun da yer alaca\u011f\u0131 bir Sanat Merkezi in\u015fa etmektedir. Bu merkezin 2020 y\u0131l\u0131nda tamamlanmas\u0131 beklenmektedir.<\/p>\n
Dengeli bireyler yeti\u015ftirmek i\u00e7in \u00f6\u011frenciler \u00e7e\u015fitli okul sonras\u0131 etkinliklere kat\u0131l\u0131rlar. Yerel (ISSAK) ve uluslararas\u0131 (ISSEA) spor ve sanat etkinliklerine kat\u0131l\u0131rlar ve okulda ve daha geni\u015f toplulukta hizmet faaliyetlerine kat\u0131l\u0131rlar. ISU, Model Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler'in (MUN) Uganda \u015fubesini kurmu\u015f ve son be\u015f y\u0131ld\u0131r bu \u015fubeye ev sahipli\u011fi yapmaktad\u0131r. ISU, kapsay\u0131c\u0131 bir okuldur; yani \u00f6zel gereksinimli, \u00fcst\u00fcn zek\u00e2l\u0131 ve yetenekli \u00f6\u011frencilere \u00f6\u011frenme deste\u011fi sa\u011fl\u0131yoruz. Uluslararas\u0131 Bakalorya Diploma Program\u0131na Kendi Kendine Se\u00e7im \u2013 11. ve 12. s\u0131n\u0131f \u00f6\u011frencilerinin tamam\u0131 Diploma derslerini al\u0131r ve IB Diplomas\u0131n\u0131 tam olarak denemeleri te\u015fvik edilir. \u00d6\u011frenciler i\u00e7 de\u011ferlendirmeleri tamamlamaz veya \u00f6nemli teslim tarihlerini ka\u00e7\u0131r\u0131rlarsa, IB sertifika program\u0131na y\u00f6nlendirilirler. Mezun olan t\u00fcm \u00f6\u011frenciler, hem Orta Eyaletler Kolejler ve Okullar Birli\u011fi hem de Uluslararas\u0131 Okullar Konseyi taraf\u0131ndan onaylanan bir ISU Diplomas\u0131 al\u0131rlar.<\/p>\n
\u00dcniversite Dan\u0131\u015fman\u0131m\u0131z, \u00f6\u011frenciler ve velileriyle birlikte \u00e7al\u0131\u015farak \u00fcniversite ba\u015fvuru s\u00fcrecinde onlara rehberlik eder. ISU mezunlar\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu ABD veya \u0130ngiltere'deki \u00fcniversitelere gitmektedir. ISU'nun uluslararas\u0131 toplulu\u011fu, 50'den fazla farkl\u0131 milletten 530'dan fazla \u00f6\u011frenciden olu\u015fmaktad\u0131r. ISU'da, Uganda da dahil olmak \u00fczere d\u00fcnyan\u0131n d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131ndan 65 tam zamanl\u0131, nitelikli ve deneyimli \u00f6\u011fretmen bulunmaktad\u0131r. \u00d6\u011fretmenlerin neredeyse yar\u0131s\u0131 y\u00fcksek lisans veya di\u011fer lisans\u00fcst\u00fc derecelere sahiptir.<\/p>\n
ISU, Kampala ve Entebbe'nin d\u00f6rt bir yan\u0131ndan \u00f6\u011frencileri ta\u015f\u0131mak i\u00e7in 17 farkl\u0131 otob\u00fcs g\u00fczergah\u0131 i\u015fletmektedir. ISU teachers use the best research-based teaching methods centered on a dynamic international curriculum that meets a global standard for the best education available, the widely acclaimed and highly respected International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes. In the Junior School, Early Childhood to grade 5, the curriculum is based on the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). While providing a strong foundation in all subject areas, the programme focuses on the social, physical, emotional and cultural development of the child. It provides structured inquiry as a vehicle for learning which is carried forward in the other two IB programmes. In the Senior School, the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) forms the core of ISU's educational focus for students in grades 6 to 10. The inter-disciplinary approach to learning develops students' critical thinking abilities and communication skills and offers an academically challenging and stimulating programme of study. In grades 11 and 12 students follow the IB Diploma Programme (DP).
