Glendale Academy International, a CBSE affiliated school is situated on a lush 10 acre campus near Golconda Artillery Centre, Hyderabad. The school was established in 2003 by the Hyderabad Education Academy and has grown from an initial strength of approximately 50 students and 10 staff members to approximately 2200+ students and 230+ staff members at present.

The school’s motto is, ‘Learning every day, loving every minute’ and to realize this, the school has created a vibrant ambience that is nature and student friendly and has adopted a teaching methodology that caters to the needs of every child.

Developing children’s ability to contribute towards a better human society through 5 Cs – Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Character is need of the hour. At Glendale, we are happy to share that these five competencies are interwoven across curriculum and pedagogy and executed through engaging programmes and activities. In order to create global competent citizens, we aspire to help our students to think globally and act locally.

The culture of continuous academic research and development is a reflection of the desire of Academic Team to excel. We believe – the more ways we teach, the more children we reach. National and International workshops are conducted at school and faculty is also sent to attend and then share in in-house training sessions.

Director, Ms. Anjum Babukhan, authored a book titled ABCs of Brain Compatible Learning (an educators guide to brain compatible teaching methodology based on neuroscience) which has been well received by education fraternity. Her in-house orientation program and ongoing professional development programs are based on her learnings from Harvard and Cambridge primarily based on the changing trends to teach a 21st century learner.

UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been integrated with the curriculum which makes students aware of their social responsibility as Global citizens. World Class Course is being followed wherein study groups have been formed (groups study resource material from the prestigious Project Zero Classroom, Harvard, which was attended by the Director in 2017)
