CISK is an IB World School under the authorization of the IBO for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). IB World Schools share a common philosophy – a commitment to continually improving the teaching and learning of adverse yet inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high-quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision. In addition, CISK is also an A-Level Test Center authorized by the AQA and Cambridge International Examination.

The school follows the IB education philosophy to develop international mindset as the core of the school´s culture. CISK focuses on improving students' learning abilities, cultivating their spirit of humanity and innovation, while school also developing students' personalities. Academics

The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is a curriculum offered by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) for students aged 3-19 around the world. It consists of four major categories: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP), and Career-related Programme (CP). In an IB world school, the entire educational system encourages both personal development and academic achievement challenging students to think critically, to ask questions and think across disciplines.

The IB aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

CISK provides students with a variety of extended courses, including arts, sports, language, musical instruments, etc.

Students can make a variety of choices according to their own interests to promote all-round development.

Boarding

CISK Residence is located in the southeast section of the school campus, (at present) including two modern dorm buildings and a public hall. The public hall also includes a reading area, group activities area, leisure area and laundry rooms. Each floor contains two student units and two teacher’s rooms. Each student unit has 7 rooms, a living room and dining area. Each room has its own bathroom, four beds, four desks and four wardrobes, which can provide boarding services for four students. The dorm has two elevators, and boarding students can swipe their cards during the opening hours of the dorm. Dorm is equipped with intelligent air-conditioning system, with each room equipped with independent fresh air and air purification devices. The school is equipped with a professional dorm management team, responsible for boarding students' safety and life management; In addition, a team of counselors composed of professional teachers is provided to provide necessary guidance and help for students' study.
