Canadian College Italy is Canada’s first high school in Italy. It is a co-educational boarding school that ofers an academically rigorous curriculum in a semester format. Founded in 1995, CCI has provided a unique high quality English-language based educational exprience that prepares students for success in their university studies. CCI graduates have accepted offers and received scholarships from universities throughout Canada, the U.S.A, the U.K, Australia , Italy and the rest of Europe. CCI is inspected by the Ministry of Education for the Province of Ontario, Canada and graduates receive the OSSD Diploma. CCI hires professionally trained and certified techers with experience and strength in their subject areas. Teachers are devoted to meeting student needs beyond the classroom and contribute greatly to the extra-curriculum life of the school. They also lead all of the school trips to cities across Italy and Europe.

The town of Lanciano, where CCI is located, is an ancient yet modern and safe city with 45,000 inhabitants and is a 15 minute drive from the Adriatic sea. Students live in residences with full time supervision by our dons. The boys residence is the top floor of the main school building while the girls are housed at the Schools Inn, just a short walk from the school. The extra curricular program inclues teacher led sports but also partnerships with the local gyms for Crossfit, Aerial yoga/Pilates. Transportation is provided for these activities which are a 10 minute drive from the school.

Teachers lead some of the sporting activities such as basketball, volleyball and soccer in nearby facilities that the school rents. CCI also has a partnership with the Crossfit/Aerial Yoga/Pilates gym that is a 10 minute drive from the school and transportation is provided to the students at no extra cost. Students wanting to compete in specific high level competitions such as fencing, horseback riding etc are connected to local teams.
