Elea High Online School is a fully online British secondary school for students aged 11–18, renowned for its warm, welcoming and supportive learning environment. Every student is known and valued as an individual within our thriving global school community.
Through structured live lessons and small class sizes (maximum class size 12), we provide personalised academic and pastoral support leading to internationally recognised (Pearson and Cambridge) IGCSE and A Level qualifications.

At Elea High Online School, our academic programme is carefully designed to combine intellectual challenge with personalised support, ensuring every student is both stretched and supported throughout their educational journey.
Our broad and ambitious Key Stage 3 curriculum lays the foundations for future academic success. Students develop subject depth, critical thinking skills, and independent learning habits that prepare them fully for the demands of examination courses. With class sizes limited to a maximum of twelve students, teachers are able to provide meaningful individual attention, ensuring each learner’s strengths are nurtured and any gaps are addressed early.
From Year 10, students begin their formal examination pathway by selecting from sixteen Pearson Edexcel IGCSE courses. Many of these subjects are offered in a modular format, allowing students to sit examinations at different points across the course rather than facing all assessments at the end of two years. This structure reduces examination pressure, supports knowledge retention, and enables students to build confidence progressively.
In Sixth Form, students choose from eleven A Level subjects, taught by specialist teachers with experience in preparing students for competitive university destinations. We strongly encourage students to undertake the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), an academically rigorous course that develops research, analytical, and independent study skills. The EPQ not only strengthens university applications but also prepares students for the intellectual expectations of higher education, allowing them to explore an area of genuine personal interest in depth.
Academic excellence at Elea High is supported by a structured and proactive pastoral framework. We understand that achievement is closely linked to wellbeing. Our dedicated Student Coaches provide individual academic mentoring, welfare support, and tailored guidance on careers and university pathways. Meetings can be arranged easily, and students are always able to request additional support whenever they need it. Our size allows us to remain responsive. Teachers and mentors communicate regularly with families, ensuring that concerns are identified early and addressed quickly. Support is tailored to the individual rather than delivered through a one-size-fits-all system. We also provide structured personal development through weekly PSHE lessons and whole-school assemblies. These sessions address topics such as resilience, study skills, digital responsibility, wellbeing, and preparation for future pathways. They help students feel connected to the wider school community while developing the skills needed to succeed beyond the classroom. For Sixth Form students, guidance extends to university and career preparation. We support students with subject choices, personal statements, application processes, and interview preparation, helping them take confident next steps toward higher education. Elea High Online School delivers its live teaching through Microsoft Teams for Education, providing a secure, professional, and structured virtual classroom environment. This platform enables real-time interaction, discussion, collaboration, and teacher feedback, ensuring lessons are dynamic and engaging rather than passive. All lesson materials, assignments, and learning resources are organised and accessed through Microsoft Teams Assignments and dedicated SharePoint folders, giving students a clear and consistent structure for independent study. Resources are centrally stored, enabling students to revisit materials easily and maintain organised digital workspaces. The Microsoft 365 Education environment ensures: Secure, school-managed accounts for all students, Controlled access to online classrooms, Recorded lessons for revision and continuity, Centralised communication between staff and students Our platform is intentionally chosen to combine reliability, security, and ease of use. At Elea High, technology supports learning, it does not replace teaching. Our focus remains on high-quality live instruction delivered within a secure and well-managed online framework.

Elea High Online School operates in accordance with UK safeguarding and child protection guidance, placing student safety and wellbeing at the centre of our school culture.As an online school, our safeguarding framework is specifically designed for a digital environment. Particular emphasis is placed on online conduct, digital responsibility, and the prevention of cyber-bullying. Clear expectations for behaviour are established from the outset, and our online classrooms are professionally managed to ensure a safe, respectful learning environment.We have a designated Safeguarding Lead who oversees all child protection matters and ensures that policies remain current and aligned with UK best practice.
