THINK Wereldwijde School: De eerste reizende middelbare school ter wereld<\/strong><\/p>\n

Op de THINK Global School (TGS), de enige reizende middelbare school ter wereld, leven en leren studenten elk jaar in vier landen. Onderweg doen ze de vaardigheden, perspectieven en vriendschappen op die nodig zijn om te gedijen in de onderling verbonden wereld van vandaag. In een tijdperk van constante digitale verbindingen geeft TGS de voorkeur aan authentieke, menselijke ervaringen. Studenten in de leeftijd van 16-18 jaar in klas 11-12 ervaren het leven in maximaal acht landen gedurende twee jaar, terwijl ze een volledig WASC-geaccrediteerd diploma behalen door middel van een onderdompeling in de echte wereld en echte culturele uitwisseling.<\/p>\n

Wat maakt TGS uniek?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In plaats van leerboeken en colleges duiken studenten in projectmatig leren via het innovatieve Changemaker Curriculum van TGS. Stel je voor:<\/p>\n

- Verken de oude filosofie terwijl je het pad van Odysseus door Griekenland volgt
\n- Duiken voor de kust van Australi\u00eb terwijl je zeeleven catalogiseert voor datamodellen

Elke acht weken durende cursus richt zich op een multidisciplinair project dat echte problemen aanpakt en tegelijkertijd inspiratie put uit de cultuur, het milieu en de gemeenschap van het gastland.
\nMet een verhouding van 4:1 krijgen studenten individuele begeleiding van multiculturele docenten die zowel mentor als leraar zijn. Sinds 2010 heeft TGS 34 bijzondere landen als thuisland, waardoor er een echt wereldwijd klaslokaal is ontstaan zoals er geen ander is.<\/p>\n

Academische excellentie<\/strong><\/p>\n

TGS is volledig geaccrediteerd door de Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC). Met een slagingspercentage van 100 procent en 92 procent van de alumni die doorstromen naar universiteiten in meer dan 100 instellingen over de hele wereld, bereidt TGS studenten voor om zowel academisch als persoonlijk uit te blinken. The Changemaker Curriculum replaces traditional classes with hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of sitting in math or science classes, students work on real-world projects that combine multiple subjects at once. For example, they might study marine biology while scuba diving in Australia, or explore ancient philosophy while tracing Odysseus's journey through Greece.<\/p>\n

Each eight-week term focuses on solving actual problems in their host country by working with local experts, conducting research, and presenting solutions to real audiences. Students also design personal projects based on their interests, from creating documentaries to conducting scientific studies.<\/p>\n
