EUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF BARCELONA was founded in 1996 by a group of dedicated educators led by the Herranz-Fr\u00edas family. With a long history in education, the founders sought to create a space where students could grow and develop in all aspects of their lives.<\/p>\n
We are an independent school with a humanistic, ecological and international approach, constantly evolving and highly capable of tailoring programs to the needs of each student. We strive to optimize the time students spend with us, fostering the development of their talents and skills, cultivating sensitivity to sustainability and highlighting the unique and singular contributions each student can offer to society. We support and guide them in their humanistic and academic growth.<\/p>\n
With 1500 pupils of over 50 different nationalities, our project, under the guidance of a stable academic team, begins in Nursery and culminates in the 2nd year of Baccalaureate. At this stage, pupils have the option of taking the National Baccalaureate, the International Baccalaureate or the American High School Diploma.<\/p>\n
The school is located just 15 km from the centre of Barcelona and is surrounded by the 8,465 hectare Collserola Natural Park, on a 14,000 m2 plot of land with 10,503 m2 of buildings for classrooms, laboratories, dining rooms, auditorium, kitchen and a large sports centre with two covered swimming pools.<\/p>\n
Another of EISB’s key services is our Boarding School, which is exclusive for male students aged 14 to 18 within the high-performance football program. This specialized residence provides a structured and supportive environment where students can fully focus on their athletic and academic pursuits.
