Since expanding significantly over the past year, OWIS Osaka continues to strengthen its inquiry-led learning environment—bringing together a growing international community, enhanced programmes, and even more opportunities for students to thrive.
Our curriculum is grounded in inquiry-based learning and aligned with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework, delivered in English within a diverse, supportive setting.
At OWIS, we balance strong academics with a student-centred approach, drawing on Montessori-inspired principles and engaging, research-informed teaching methods that focus on each child’s strengths and how they learn best.
Structured around the IB Units of Inquiry, learning is collaborative, hands-on, and meaningful—encouraging curiosity, teamwork, and real-world connection. Extracurriculare
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a well-rounded, holistic education, our After-School, Clubs, and Extracurricular (ACE) programmes support students’ social, physical, and emotional development in a fun, international, and inclusive environment. Enrollment phase
WIS Osaka offers rolling admissions, so students can apply and join throughout the year (subject to seat availability).  The ideal entry point is August (start of the academic year), with December (Term 2) and April (Term 3) also common intake periods for a smoother transition. Applications can be submitted up to two academic years in advance. 
Minimum Enrollment Duration
This school requires a minimum enrollment of 12 months, ensuring students have adequate time to benefit from the curriculum and educational experience.
