La Garenne est l'une des plus anciennes \u00e9coles internationales de Suisse. Plus de 75 ans apr\u00e8s avoir accueilli ses premiers \u00e9l\u00e8ves, LGIS accueille aujourd'hui 150 jeunes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 5 \u00e0 18 ans. Nos premiers \u00e9l\u00e8ves du Dipl\u00f4me de l'IB ont obtenu leur dipl\u00f4me en 2023. Fond\u00e9e en 1947 et d\u00e9tenue par la deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de la famille Mean, LGIS accueille ses premiers \u00e9l\u00e8ves de premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e depuis 75 ans. Elle accueille aujourd'hui 180 jeunes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 4 \u00e0 18 ans. L'\u00e9cole secondaire a ouvert ses portes il y a six ans et deux promotions du Dipl\u00f4me de l'IB ont \u00e9t\u00e9 dipl\u00f4m\u00e9es depuis.<\/p>\n
Situ\u00e9 au c\u0153ur des Alpes suisses, \u00e0 une altitude de 1300 m\u00e8tres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, le LGIS combine un programme acad\u00e9mique rigoureux avec des activit\u00e9s de plein air multiples et diversifi\u00e9es tout au long de l'ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
LGIS est une \u00e9cole du monde accr\u00e9dit\u00e9e par l'IB. Ses programmes d'\u00e9tudes comprennent le programme primaire international, les programmes de premier cycle secondaire et du dipl\u00f4me de l'IB, ainsi que le dipl\u00f4me d'\u00e9tudes secondaires de La Garenne.<\/p>\n
Avec des pistes de ski \u00e0 deux pas, les \u00e9tudiants peuvent profiter au maximum de notre emplacement exceptionnel et notre programme exigeant \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger permet aux \u00e9tudiants de compl\u00e9ter leurs \u00e9tudes universitaires avec des projets de service en tant qu'action.<\/p>\n
Toutes les chambres d'internat, en primaire comme en terminale, disposent de salles de bain privatives. Pour les \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui ne sont pas encore pr\u00eats \u00e0 int\u00e9grer l'internat, nous proposons un programme d'int\u00e9gration, qui peut durer une semaine seulement. La plupart des \u00e9l\u00e8ves qui y participent s'inscrivent ensuite d\u00e9finitivement. En plus de notre programme annuel, nous proposons \u00e9galement des camps d'\u00e9t\u00e9 et d'hiver, qui affichent une demande pl\u00e9thorique chaque ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n
