La Garenne es uno de los colegios internacionales m\u00e1s antiguos de Suiza. M\u00e1s de 75 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de acoger a sus primeros alumnos, LGIS acoge ahora a 150 j\u00f3venes de entre 5 y 18 a\u00f1os. Nuestros primeros alumnos del Diploma del BI se graduaron en 2023. Fundado en 1947 y propiedad de la segunda generaci\u00f3n de la familia Mean, LGIS ha acogido a los primeros alumnos de primaria durante los \u00faltimos 75 a\u00f1os. Actualmente, acoge a 180 j\u00f3venes de entre 4 y 18 a\u00f1os. El colegio de secundaria abri\u00f3 sus puertas hace seis a\u00f1os y, desde entonces, hemos tenido dos generaciones de graduados del Diploma del BI.<\/p>\n
Ubicado en el coraz\u00f3n de los Alpes suizos a una altitud de 1300 metros sobre el nivel del mar, LGIS combina un riguroso programa acad\u00e9mico con m\u00faltiples y diversas actividades al aire libre durante todo el a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n
LGIS es un Colegio del Mundo IB acreditado. Sus programas de estudio incluyen el Curr\u00edculo de Primaria Internacional, los programas de los A\u00f1os Intermedios y el Diploma IB, y el Diploma de Bachillerato La Garenne.<\/p>\n
Con pistas de esqu\u00ed a la puerta de casa, los estudiantes pueden aprovechar al m\u00e1ximo nuestra impresionante ubicaci\u00f3n y nuestro exigente programa en el extranjero les permite complementar sus estudios acad\u00e9micos con proyectos de Servicio como Acci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Todos los dormitorios en internado, tanto en primaria como en secundaria, cuentan con ba\u00f1o privado. Para los estudiantes que a\u00fan no est\u00e1n listos para un internado completo, ofrecemos un Programa de Integraci\u00f3n que puede durar tan solo una semana. La mayor\u00eda de los estudiantes del Programa de Integraci\u00f3n se matriculan de forma permanente. Adem\u00e1s de nuestro programa de a\u00f1o escolar, tambi\u00e9n ofrecemos campamentos de verano e invierno, que a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o tienen un exceso de plazas.<\/p>\n
