The International School of Hamburg offers English-language international education in Hamburg to over 730 students from over 55 nationalities. Founded in 1957, it is the oldest international school in Germany and has decades of experience in the International Baccalaureat curriculum. It delivers the International Primary Curriculum, the IB Middle Years Program, IB Career-related program and the International Baccalaureat.<\/p>\n
The school’s strong students’ strong performance on the International Baccalaureate Exams have opened doors to some of the most prestigious universities in Europe, United Kingdom, Asia, and Canada. Over the past four years, ISH graduates have been accepted to one of the top three universities in ten different countries, as well as, 13 schools in the top 2% of U.S. universities.<\/p>\n
Since 2022, it offers holiday camps and afternoon care from 15:00 to 18:00 in English keen to follow sport, art or social activities in English. The International School of Hamburg is an accredited member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Associations of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) for which it regularly undergoes throughout evaluation of all its programmes, facilities, policies and personnel in order to deliver global best practices in international education. The International School of Hamburg is a member of the Safeguarding Alliance and follows international best practices to ensure child safety as well as being in strict compliance with German child safeguarding laws.<\/p>\n
