Establecida en 1996 como una de las primeras escuelas internacionales de Shanghai, la Escuela Internacional Comunitaria de Shanghai (SCIS) es una escuela educativa diurna sin fines de lucro, gobernada por una junta directiva que se perpet\u00faa a s\u00ed misma y supervisada por la Fundaci\u00f3n de Escuelas Internacionales. \nEl Programa del A\u00f1o Intermedio (PAI) es un marco desafiante que anima a los estudiantes a establecer conexiones pr\u00e1cticas entre sus estudios y el mundo real. El PAI es un programa de cinco a\u00f1os que se puede implementar en colaboraci\u00f3n entre colegios.
