Zurich International School (ZIS) es una escuela diurna l\u00edder, sin \u00e1nimo de lucro, que ofrece un programa educativo integral para alumnos, tanto locales como expatriados, de 3 a 18 a\u00f1os en la zona metropolitana de Z\u00farich. Existe un programa biling\u00fce adicional para alumnos de 3 a 9 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

ZIS entiende que la educaci\u00f3n consiste en encontrar el equilibrio adecuado. Nuestro objetivo es garantizar que todos los ni\u00f1os salgan de la escuela con amor por el aprendizaje. Por eso les damos un entorno seguro para explorar sin miedo al fracaso. Nuestro riguroso plan de estudios -que incluye el Programa del Diploma del Bachillerato Internacional (IB) y cursos de Colocaci\u00f3n Avanzada (AP)- proporciona una base que ayuda a los alumnos a llegar a las universidades m\u00e1s prestigiosas. Pero tambi\u00e9n les prepara para un futuro que requiere compasi\u00f3n, liderazgo, adaptabilidad, resiliencia y pensamiento original.<\/p>\n

En ZIS, animamos a los alumnos a descubrir nuevas ideas y posibilidades, y a aprender probando y haciendo. Los ni\u00f1os se sienten inspirados para ir m\u00e1s all\u00e1, pero tomando su propio camino. Eso significa que lo que aprendan ser\u00e1 transferible y transformador.<\/p>\n

Cada alumno explora una amplia gama de actividades extraescolares, desde las artes a los deportes, desde el debate al periodismo. Animamos a los alumnos a probar cosas nuevas para que puedan descubrir qui\u00e9nes quieren ser realmente. Trabajamos para crear un entorno en el que los alumnos puedan ser aventureros porque se sienten apoyados. ZIS es verdaderamente internacional: sus 1.300 alumnos representan a m\u00e1s de 70 nacionalidades y hablan 40 lenguas maternas.<\/p>\n

ZIS se compone de un primer ciclo para alumnos de 3 a 11 a\u00f1os en Wadenswil y un segundo ciclo para alumnos de 11 a 18 a\u00f1os en Adliswil.<\/p>\n

ZIS, la escuela internacional acreditada m\u00e1s antigua de Suiza, es una Escuela Mundial de la Organizaci\u00f3n del Bachillerato Internacional (IB), est\u00e1 acreditada por la Comisi\u00f3n de Educaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Escuelas y Colegios de Nueva Inglaterra (NEASC) y est\u00e1 aprobada por el Departamento de Educaci\u00f3n del Cant\u00f3n de Z\u00farich.<\/p>\n
