Since 2011, when we moved from New York, our children have attended St. Andrews Sathorn. Truth be told, it was the small size of the student body and the extraordinary warmth with which we were received as a new family in Bangkok that convinced us to place our trust in the faculty and staff of St. Andrews Sathorn with the education of our three children.
We have celebrated our decision each day since then as we have witnessed, first-hand, the faculty of St. Andrews Sathorn at work to impart those critical foundational lessons that have helped shape the emotional, physical and cognitive attributes of our children. We have been absolutely thrilled with every opportunity for growth that the school has offered our kids since that day when we joined the ranks of other families that also think of St. Andrews Sathorn as “our school”.
With all three children starting in the Early Years Programme, and our eldest, Anisha now making her way to graduation from Year 6, we feel that we have understood our school from its core. The principles the school advances, be it in the classroom or playground, the awareness and sense of community, encouraging inquisitive minds, challenging children to fulfill their potential, or training in the pool or basketball court inspiring a lifelong passion for sports, team-work and fellowship, are the very essence of St. Andrews Sathorn.
We are, of course, saddened that Anisha will graduate from St. Andrews Sathorn this year but also excited as she finds her way in a new school as she commences Year 7. We are comforted by the fact that she is well prepared to take on the challenges that lie ahead in life, while her younger siblings, Prashan and Sheana, continue with their education and growth under the watchful eye of the ever-present Ms. Pennock and her wonderful team of inspiring faculty and staff.

We have been looking at many schools for our first boy, Neo. We selected St. Andrew Sathorn because the school offers very safe and casual learning environment for our kids. They learn through playing, exploring and experimenting which is perfect as we do not want our kids to go to traditional school where the kids are sat at their individual desk to study. St. Andrews sathorn is not too big so it is very easy to find your kids and you don’t have to walk miles before you find them.

The staff are very attentive and the head master, Ms Pennock even knows each of the children’s names. Whenever there is any issue or question, Ms Pennock and the staff are very prompt in their responses. So we decided to put all our kids at St. Andrews Sathorn. I remembered when I was young, I would find excuses not to go to school, but my kids are different, they want to go to school and that’s because they are enjoying themselves in school, which the most important thing is growing up!

We are very happy to have our kids in St. Andrews Sathorn and highly recommend it to those who are looking for a school that is not too big and where everyone knows each other.
