Description

St. Andrews International School, Green Valley is a world-class school situated on the Eastern Seaboard for our global family of 2 – 18 year old children, conveniently located on the outskirts of Pattaya and Rayong. We pride ourselves on offering a balanced education whilst achieving some of the highest academic results in Thailand, both at IB Diploma and IGCSE. We are also the 1st and only school on the Eastern Seaboard to have been awarded ‘GOLD’ status from the Education Development Trust (EDT) and achieved outstanding in all areas. Nestling in spacious and beautiful surroundings of Green Valley, our campus is home to a community of around 450 students from over 35 nationalities, all of whom enjoy the close, individual attention offered by a small school, together with the academic and cultural opportunities and outstanding facilities of a far larger one. Our campus is inspirational in its layout and offers the perfect environment for learning.

We provide a stimulating, child-centred learning environment for our students. In Primary the students follow the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) integrated with the principles of the English National Curriculum to provide the best of international learning. Teachers facilitate opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration through the inquiry process, setting high expectations and opportunities to work independently. Students in our Secondary School complete IGCSEs in Year 10 and 11 and we follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) in Years 12 and 13 as this challenges students and provides an excellent preparation for university courses around the world. The Secondary curriculum is broad and balanced, encouraging active participation in all areas so that students flourish in this environment. Our 80 teachers, from 14 nationalities, are all highly experienced, dedicated and passionate about education. Professional development for our teachers is an on-going priority, and we strongly believe that a school thrives when its teachers are committed to lifelong learning.

St. Andrews International Schools in Thailand are part of Cognita, a global school network of 68 schools in eight countries and over 30,000 students worldwide. Providing excellent teaching and supporting every child to achieve their potential are the cornerstones of a Cognita education. www.cognita.com
